Canada offers a resort for everyone! From North America’s largest resort, Whistler Blackcomb, to family friendly favourites such as Sun Peaks, Panorama and SilverStar. For the adventurous you can’t beat North America’s highest vertical in Revelstoke or the wild majestic terrain of UNESCO protected Banff National Park.

On top of that it also offers buckets of light dry powder per season, fantastic ski schools, friendly and charming local towns all surrounded by some pretty spectacular scenery. Not to mention super convenient ski-in ski-out facilities + lots of awesome après & activities such as ice hockey games, dog sledding, ice fishing and alpine fondue dinners.

December: is a wonderful time to go and experience a White Christmas Winter Wonderland! However late December can get expensive plus you will be sharing the slopes with a lot of North Americans during their Christmas break.

January school holidays: is a great option that is a little cheaper and less crowded than late December, yet snow is bucketing. Prime time for Australian families.

Feb/March: Best conditions for prices, powder and Bluebird days! Weather is generally a little milder + many resorts experience their highest snowfalls late Feb/Early March when prices (and crowds!) are less.

April: Some resorts such as Banff and Lake Louise and Whistler have super long snow-laden seasons so skiing in April (& Easter school holidays) is a great value option!

Renting a car is easy in Canada and there are lots of fantastic road trips. Talk to us about exploring, for example, the epic resorts along the famed Powder Highway in B.C.

The earlier you book the better – the best and cheapest flights and accommodation (particularly for late Dec/Jan) sell out so book early. Also pre-book your kids ski lessons, they do sell out, particularly in January!

Resorts such as Whistler and Banff can get quite crowded with North Americans in late December & President’s weekend in mid-February and Australians in January.

A lot of places offer inter-resort shuttles so talk to us about the opportunity to up you ski fix and ski more than one resort.

Drew from BPT has been looking after us for our ski trips for the last 10 years. Always does a fantastic job. This year was Big Sky Montana. A resort very worth a visit, offering a wide range of skiing options from gentle greens to savage, steep [and often pretty ugly] double blacks.

Just returned from our 4th overseas ski holiday booked through Melissa at Blue Powder. We could not be happier with the service provided by Melissa. Also great prices on flights and accommodation. We will be booking again in the near future.

Just completed our third trip booked through Blue Powder and will continue to use them every year. We no longer bother to research the details, simply select a location and call Drew to sort it all out for us. Fantastic service.

Mike Woods

Have been with Mike since our first overseas family ski trip almost 15 years ago when Mike was working out of INSKI in the city. Great knowledge, service and advice. Keep on doing that voodoo that you do so well. Powder to the people!
