Top 5 Reasons to Go

Getting There

MONSTROUS TERRAIN & NEW ACCESS: Last winter, Panorama welcomed a 128-acre (52 hectare) expansion to Taynton Bowl, the resort’s off-piste back country style terrain. It was the first phase of a multi-stage terrain expansion, opening up a new alpine zone to skiers and riders. This year skiers were able to access the highest point of this terrain by a custom built, 13 passenger snowcat. The Monster X, is equipped with plush seating and a pumping sound system and offers a journey up that’s just as much fun as the descent that follows.

SNOWLICIOUS: Panorama is renowned for its boutique alpine dining scene, and this year the resort kicked things up a notch with the addition of the first snowcat food truck in Canada. A professional kitchen installed on a Prinoth snow groomer, the Snowlicious Mobile Kitchen offers a casual alfresco experience right on the slopes.

Getting Around: Everything in the resort & the town is close

Panorama was established in 1962 by a group of local ski enthusiasts that wanted to create a local ski hill.  The name Panorama was influenced by the nearby hiking area called Panorama Plateau, as the name suggests the vistas from anywhere in this resort are panoramic and awe-inspiring!

Panorama is a quintessential alpine village. All accommodation is ski in ski out and with a maximum capacity of around 2000 beds, you have the benefit of world-class operations and facilities but the scale and feel of a much more intimate resort.

Panorama has a mountain rise of over 1,300 meters with varied terrain, 75% of terrain suitable for beginner to intermediate skiers & boarders. This resort is great for families and all ski, mountain & wilderness enthusiasts. Panorama Resort could be considered an alternative to the bigger resorts such as Whistler.  The village offers everything you need from cafeteria style to casual & fine dining, general store, retail shops, ski school, spa and Canada’s largest slopeside Hot Springs perfect after a day on the mountain.
